Ten-hour days at a screen leave a mark.

Why Century City desks hurt

The towers of Century City run on long hours, back-to-back meetings, and screens that never close. Your fascia — the connective tissue that wraps every muscle and joint — pays the price. Research links prolonged sitting and computer work directly to neck and lower-back pain.

01 · TECH NECK

Tight shoulders, stiff neck by 6pm

Hours angled toward a monitor load the cervical spine and the fascia around it. The Cleveland Clinic names long stretches of screen time a common cause of neck pain.

02 · THE CHAIR

Low-back pain from sitting all day

Hours of sitting and poor posture strain the lower back — the Mayo Clinic advises changing position at least every half hour. The fascia along your back adapts to the chair, not to you.

03 · THE CLEAN MRI

“Your imaging looks normal.”

You’ve done the PT. You’ve tried the cortisone. Yet the pain persists — because fascial dysfunction rarely shows on standard imaging. That gap is exactly what our practice was built to close.

Care for the tissue most clinics never address.

Why fascia first

Fascia is the connective-tissue matrix that holds your body together. When it’s healthy, you don’t feel it. When it’s restricted, scarred, or inflamed, it produces neck and back pain that confounds standard imaging and resists conventional rehabilitation.

Our practice exists for the patients who fall through that gap — with the diagnostics, equipment, and physician expertise required to find fascial pain and treat it at the source.

  • Every visit is physician-led by a fascia specialist.
  • Every procedure is ultrasound-guided for precision.
  • Every plan is written for your body, not a textbook protocol.

Optionally, our signature Fascial Mapping® diagnostic — a 100+ point, head-to-toe ultrasound assessment scored on a 488-point system — shows you exactly where your neck and back pain begins.

Two coordinated pathways, one root cause.

How we treat neck & back pain

We don’t hand you a generic exercise sheet. After a fascia-focused diagnosis, your neck and back pain is treated through in-office procedures, advanced manual therapy, or both — coordinated by Dr. Courseault.

PATHWAY 01 · FASCIA MEDICINE

Physician-led, in-office treatment

Ultrasound-guided procedures that treat fascial pain at the source — ideal for stubborn neck and back pain that hasn’t responded to conventional care. Includes Hydrofascia Release™, Dextrose Prolotherapy, and ProloBoost Dual PRP. Explore Fascia Medicine →

PATHWAY 02 · PERFORMANCE PROGRAM

Fascia-first manual & device therapy

Not traditional PT — hands trained in five schools of advanced manual therapy, supported by shockwave, TECAR, and PEMF to release restricted fascia and restore movement. Includes Shockwave, Human TECAR, and PEMF therapy. Explore the Performance Program →

Frequently asked.

How far is the clinic from Century City?
We’re at 415 North Crescent Drive in the Golden Triangle of Beverly Hills — roughly a 5 to 10 minute drive from the Century City towers. It’s an easy lunch-hour or after-work visit.

Why does my neck or back still hurt when my MRI is “clean”?
Much neck and back pain originates in the fascia — the connective tissue wrapping every muscle and joint. Fascial dysfunction rarely shows on a standard MRI, which is why so many patients are told their imaging looks normal while their pain is very real. Our ultrasound-guided Fascial Mapping® evaluation is built to find it.

Do I need a referral?
No referral is required. Request a consultation through the form above or call (424) 378-3488.

Is treatment covered by insurance?
We’re an out-of-network specialty practice. We provide detailed documentation and a Good Faith Estimate so you know costs in advance, and many patients use HSA/FSA funds. See pricing or call for details.

What does the first visit involve?
A physician-led evaluation to assess your fascia and pinpoint the source of your neck or back pain, followed by a treatment plan built specifically for you. Learn more about our practice.
